Nah giants are apparently quiet common for One Piece. Most of the navy was screaming for the giants help when Oars Jr. came around and just went straight "tard" on everyone.

Aphelandra isn't even a giant. She's just a really big human, like Whitebeard or Kuma. Actual giants are much bigger.

sanji would kill luffy for being in that place especially becuase he ended up in the worst island.
