Well, I was talking about in terms of the template, and Akashi's role in comedic fanworks can mostly be fit inside the templates "Akashi's been fooling around again" and "Akashi's shady new invention".

As for actual sparkiness/mad science, well, it depends on how Eirin's flanderized in fanworks. Some of them have her being a prodigy in all things biotechnology in addition to her pharmaceutical expertise. Like the Eirin in Silence of the Rabbits, who basically has a similar specialization as Tweedle Blitzengaard (biological constructs and poisons/biochemistry), in terms of sparkiness.
