Is the first image in this pool (Roon going berserk) the actual beginning of this story? It feels like I’m missing a ton of backstory.
Like, I get the feeling this was like one of those peaceful slice of life type stories where the admiral was just concerned about making everyone happy in the beginning and no one was prepared for the war, so it took a seriously dark turn.

There's another set of strips by the same author that is basically "Shoukaku taunting Akagi while Zuikaku picks up her mess". Over the course of it, Enty ended up paired with Zuikaku somehow. That particular "arc" is untranslated as of writing, so no clue how it happened.

For the most part, those two's track of events (which are noticeably lighter) were separate from this series.... until now. (Though they did make an appearance during Portland's entrance to the series)
