too bad Toriyama's art always looks exactly the same. :( You can easily see that some characters look the same as goku, chi-chi and Jajirobe (spelled correcly?). and the devil in the back also reminds me of someone from DB.
well it's his art style. a lot of mangaka's have the same character designs, it's being consistent. the Kishimoto brothers have similar character designs for all the mangas they've done.

That devil in the back is Cell. The doctor is Dr. Gero, if I remember correctly, the guy who made the androids. The fat guy is that samurai guy who tried to help Goku beat Vegeta in their first encounter. And on the right is Bulma.
i remember the animated series of this, or atleast the episode where i first saw Daisy, i was in love with her at first sight. she was strong and pretty, but its strange that a kid could feel love for a character let alone a person, since sex is still entirely alien at that point.
