Agreed, you'd think it'd be one of the first targets, I assume it's because there aren't many males to transform so it's not as fun.

The fandom isn't as robust as it was 5-10 years ago. A lot of other series stealing it's thunder have come and gone over the years. It's normalized the hype levels of it.

Or with Touhou it's more We don't care about this meme and it really doesn't work as everyone's already humanoid shaped and 90+% Female as is.
