This is my second entry for /w/'s 6th vector contest. I wasn't satisfied with my first entry but I am with this one and very much so. Traced using Illustrator CS6. Exported with Photoshop CS6. A lot of the shading was done with gradient meshes and also a few simple gradients. Both sides were extended to make the image wallpaper sized.
