At least, I wrote it like that because I recalled reading it spelled that way somewhere in a book for a (modern) Native American character. (Can't remember which book it was though.) Makes sense with the typical sound changes too (back vowel raising, t-glottalization, consonant-devoicing, cluster reduction, etc.).
