Sasawa, apparently, you're wrong. Pitou's DNA was originally a human female, so was Hina. Sadly, this was Pufu's case. Seriously.

Still, Hina is female, in fact, Hina said something about dreaming of becoming a Queen. Also, Palm/Biscuit, who suddenly transformed into Ant experiment too, is still female. The problem radicalizes in the null information given by Togashi, not even himself knows what the fuck is he doing with Hunter X Hunter.

And it's pissing me off, really. Is Pitou male, female? What is it, because it clearly looks like a trap/flat bitch. Togashi introduced Hina in the last chapters, yet we don't know anything about Pitou...come on, tell us a hint, it's worth a try!

i don't think there was ever an explicit designation giving for pitou actually. as for the model, apparently it was rather inconsistent in the manga, sometimes flat, sometimes having a bit of a chest, etc. the 2011 anime just made it more consistent with the appearance of being female, but still didn't explicitly say what they are. so really it tends to be up to the viewer to decide
