The latest official anthology comic's cover page (illustrated by Yoshizaki Mine) features Kaban with a slightly different design (longer gloves, differently colored shorts and shorter socks). So there could even be another "Kaban".
Or the cover is after the events of the first season You know, the time where Kaban got "eaten" by the Giant Cerulean and her socks and gloves and regenerates afterwards
