I'm still alive! I come bearing some pretty bad news - I got the piano teaching job that my parents have pushed me towards since I was 6. I was hired on the spot with my shiny musical degree. However, nobody expected that the pay was not enough to survive, I wouldn't be paid hourly (I only when I teach lessons) and that on average, this leads to probably less than $10 an hour with really scattered work hours, sometimes only earning $30 per trip. For a few weeks I was in such a state of denial that I couldn't really draw anything and couldn't sleep at night at all. I'm slowly getting over it... The only time I have now to draw/paint is between lessons and between migraines caused by my new work, and it's done on an iPad for portability. 

I'm hoping to make the best out of this Shit Happens

 situation now... here is my first piece done between working hours - Rosalina! I've always loved her, and when they first introduced her when I was in middle school, I totally stopped being obsessed with Peach and liked her instead.
