if you dont go for her kai ni a few months ago.... you'll neglect her...
most of my kanmusu that i keep are either event drops, your useful kanmusu or Kai Ni that uses BP and AR....
the rest are a waste of space and mod fodders...
DE's are immediately sent to the mod fodder... except for 3...

The easiest answer is ppl are lazy, or just dont have spare time on their hands because of their professional or/and family responsibilities. The latter is much more understandable.

You never know who the girls needed for historical route or special bonus are until devs gives the hint. Not that those hints were all that good to rely on.
Besides, you can't have enough girls for going Medium+ in events with just 95 of them. No, scratch that. You can, but will not be efficient.
You can buy slots just from the points you trade from medals collected by playing the games on DMM for crying out loud. There! Free extra slots. Takes time, but possible, I already bought it twice using just those medals. What excuse do you have to not have a little extra slot to call having more girls wasting of space? Aside from literally clueless about Japanese moon runes I mean.
And DE are good for preemptive ASW. And having more of them means you have more options.
