    Crystal cell batteries can last for years and you can make these at home with crap you can buy from grocery and hardware stores.

    They last a long time but they can't handle much of a useful load without deteriorating rapidly. At least that is what I remember hearing. Like some people were trying to say this stuff like the Oxford Bell is perpetual motion and free energy and all that but I don't think it works that way. Entropy wins in the end.
