    I could've put more strength into it if I'd raised the chassis and removed the tire, but naturally, there wasn't enough room to do that. Besides, I didn't want to be crushed by the car if the worst happened. (^^;)

    I thought it might make things easier if I could bang out the dent even a little bit, but I decided to give up on that and fill it in as-is with putty.

    At least in the US, they have like Ding/Dent Doctor places that will fix these sorts of things by heating the panels to the point that they become more pliable. They also have "DIY dent removal kits" and stuff.

    ... I mean, they have videos on YouTube nowadays for damn near anything from changing a lightbulb to building a whole new house by hand, so there's no reason not to look anything you don't know how to do up....
