Late reply, but they already did? Guess they were panicking when Torpedobeat Lord Yuro first discovered the mechanic loophole.

No they didn't, they can't really due to the terrible way they designed pretty much everything about CVs. They'd have to basically completely rework the entire movement system for the planes to close this, but it doesn't really matter. Progressive AA buffs have pretty much killed CVs anyway. Since ALL AA damage coming in is now focused on a single plane at a time rather then spread over the entire squadron going into ANY form of overlapping or boosted aura now pretty much immediately starts killing off planes no matter how perfectly or quickly to execute the attack. WG being retards of course didn't implement any sort of increase in aircraft regeneration to compensate for the fact it was now clearly going to be impossible to effectively preserve planes like you used to be able too.

Sounds like carriers have to wait to try and mop up after all the secondaries and AA guns have been stripped from enemy snips.

Overwhelmingly oppressive or minor annoyance. Going to be a hard to find a balance between those two.

Doesn't really matter to me, I suppose. I quit because of British Battleships. Angling your armor and leveraging your movement and positioning for an advantage against the enemy was the whole point to battleship combat for me. If angling and positioning simply don't matter in the game, then I have no reason to play it.
