    Episode 16+i "Abandoned Building" (Part 3)

    ケムリクサが終わってしまいましたが、自分が惹かれた優しい世界がケムリクサの中に確かに引き継がれているのを確認できました。たつき監督も順調に前に進んでいるし、あの時から感じていたモヤモヤも完全に溶けてすっきりした気分です。私の方も自分がみたい旅の続きを、たぶんたつき監督が思い描いていたものとはまた別の方向で、描いていきたいと思います。

    それから若干先取り感はありますが、このシリーズのかばんちゃんはこのあとめっちゃ幸せな未来が待っているので、完結まであと何年かかるかわかりませんがお付き合いいただければ幸いです。

    For what it's worth, the original Japanese word 生霊 (ikiryô) that Jungle Crow uses here refers specifically to apparitions of still-living people (which is why I thought it analogous to astral bodies/projections). So at least they aren't giving Serval the "dead people treatment"...

    Coaxing someone's astral form out of their body without their foreknowledge and consent seems like bad joojoo to me.
