Artist's commentary
I really wanted to draw a chibi Guda-chan having fresh tea. They definitely would stop in on the way home and end up getting back late, making everyone mad, for fresh tea.
新茶 (lit. "new tea" / shincha) is the first harvest of Japanese green tea. I translated it as "fresh tea" in this case.
