Piranha Plants aren't inherently evil, or even inherently bad tempered. They just react to stimulus and bite accordingly. But there are plenty of instances of tamed ones so in any event this would be a nice little thing for her to have. Because once tamed, like Chain Chomps, Piranha Plants are insanely loyal.

Plus, her preferred flower gift is a pitcher plant, a real-life carnivorous plant and I believe the only carnivorous plant that can be grown in Three Houses. I think Bernie would get along with this toothy flower just fine.
