On Chinese internet, repeating this character thrice on the end of sentence is a way of acting cute. However, the spamming of this meme is hated by many, and gave birth to several other memetic terms, such as "嘤嘤怪" (lit. Whimpering monster), for those who love to spam this all the time in every conversation.
