If I've learned to expect anything from Oni antics in the Touhou fandom it's...overkill.
Sorry to necrobump this, but I think I have an idea of what's happening in this strip.
First panel: Everybody is looking For Kyouko
Second panel, Yuugi: “Maybe she got washed away, drowned and died?”
Third panel, everybody: "..." (moment of silence)
Fourth panel, Yuugi, bowing her head solemnly and putting her hands together in reverence: “Rest in peace, Kasodani-Kyouko-san, though I never even knew you…”
Fourth panel, Kogasa and Kisume: “NOOOOOOO!!!”
This also explains why Yuugi gets a second head bump in the next strip: for scaring (mostly) Kisume
(mostly Kisume because Parsee doesn’t really know Kogasa like that, as was established / implied by some of the earlier strips, panel one in strip #429 for example shows that Parsee's spoken-character-bubble only shows Kisume as her primary concern, rather than Kogasa when the both of them were drowning / getting swept away in the water)
I think you mixed people up at the end, but yes, this is what's happening.
