Honestly I think Atlanta got Maya beat in terms of AA.
She does, you know, that 22 AA difference and massive AA cut-in? But as it currently stands, Atlanta is in a fairly bad position for a CL while Maya fares a lot better.
Maybe they'll make a spring 2019 E-2 just for her, turning up the air power up to 11 while turning the boss down a few notches so she could actually do damage.
It's thanks to Atlanta (namely her gun variants) that Maya now can perform daytime double attack like a CA should, so I hope their relationship depictions won't be all that sour. Though since Maya is a bit of a brash tsundere and Atlanta being herself, it does make a potentially interesting drama between them, lol.
When it comes to fleet building though, Atlanta is more likely to compete with other CLs first before she does with Maya because her AACI duty can always be passed to someone else (Ducks, Fletchers and then, Maya herself).
