I've heard ( and thus don't know shit ) that mask are useless cuz it spreads through the eyes. Wear sunglasses for max protection.
It's a virus, it spreads basicaly thru every hole in your body. Tho eyes are usualy safe (not 100% safe tho) because tears create nice physical barrier for all the shit in the air. Breathing in the virus is still probably the easiest way to introduce it to your body.

Well in any case, virus particles are much smaller than O2 molecules so it seems unlikely that filtration masks help all that much to begin with. You'll want a full face gas mask breathing out of a bottle of sterilized air. Argh, i should have invested in a CBRN kit earlier, now prices will go up SMH...

Yeah, but usually airborne viruses go via water droplets. They don't just float in the air.

Other way around. Viruses are complex molecules (nucleic acids plus protein coat plus/minus fatty membrane) while O2 molecules are just two atoms bound together.
As far as masks go the advice I'm hearing is that the safest thing is a P100 gas mask.
