Is it possible for me to throw my money at you for pictures?

So I’ve been getting asked this a lot lately and I have friends telling me constantly that I shouldn’t just be doing lewds for free so maybe I should just address the topic publicly.

I’d take the extra cash, I’m currently going to school, paying rent, working about 32 hours a week. But normally that leaves little time to draw, and then I get really demotivated when shit isn’t turning out right and then just play vidya for the next month or so. So my issue is consistency, I’m afraid of taking commissions and bailing on them just because I don’t feel like it or something.

Good news is, the semester just ended, so my drawing drive feels like it’s at a high right now and I think my art’s turning out really well. Times like these make me kinda want to pick up commissions.

But I’d totally be that asshole who’s like

“ALRIGHT GUYS, DOING COMMISSIONS. BUT NO: FUTA, FURRIES, DICK, VORE, INFLATION, CUM, SEX, ASSHOLES, FIGHT SCENES, INTENSE ANGLES, AHEGAO, RIPPED CHICKS, FANCY BACKGROUNDS OR BLONDES.”

Though I guess alternatively I could just say “Taking commissions for cute anime girls.” Semantics. But yeah, I like how chill my current sitch is, I take the requests I feel like and get to make some folks happy. Ideally, it’d be great if I could just like set up like a virtual tip jar, so if someone likes what I drew they can just toss some cash if they want, and if not, then I don’t have to worry about disappointing them too much. I’unno.

But whatever, I’m rambling. Point is, I have no idea how much my art is worth and how picky I can afford to be at my current skill level, I really don’t have experience with commissions. That being said, if anyone has suggestions or advice or anything, I’m open to it.
