She generally gets the chance to be the mature one when Kaga is being the silly one, IIRC. It is much rarer though. There was a comic starring Kaga, Zuikaku, and a very put-upon Fubuki that ended with Fubuki roping in Akagi to get the former to stop their antics. Twas the usual first/fifth carrier division rivalry.

Most of the time, Akagi exists only to be a glutton who steals food.
This is one of the few times she gets to be everyone's oneesan as the head of the First CarDiv.
