Who would think that the same problems that plagued the last project would plague this one?
Isn't this the game headed by a literal thief who stole the entire project from their co-creator?
Going off of memory, there was a severe disconnect between the two regarding the scope and progress of the project, with the artist ultimately leaving. The big controversy was the artist taking most of the staff, and there being a several month period when the project was taking in patreon money despite not active work being done for it. The artist then split off, with the co-creator alleging that money for breeding season was being used for this project and that he got screwed over financially by the artist.
The artist maintained that the co-creator wasn't being straightforward and that he was aware of their plans beforehand. Nonetheless, the issues that plagued breeding season continue to plague this new project, which despite getting over 20k per month (and commercial release on steam) hasn't seen a lot of progress beyond setting up the minimum.
Looking at it, it seems like they were able to find a publisher (Tiny Hat) so I question how much they need the patreon money.

It's out, but at what cost? Almost nothing has changed since the last update, the game's out only to change the project status to 'finished' so they could milk people in a new project...if there's still people stupid enough to trust them the third time.
