Even if they knew who Sendai was and why she was there, I don't think their attitudes towards her would change that much.

I love how the first thing that comes out of people's mouths when they first meet Gamby is that "You're fluffy" or some variation. That's a defining feature for you!

1. Dogs/wolves are commonly believed to be able to detect the supernatural.
