Going to have to come back to this later. The sign in panel 1 is still eluding me. The last kanji is 屋, and the middle one looks like it might be 哇, but I can't find any meaningful results from 哇屋, so I'm probably wrong.

Can't say I'd be thrilled, either.

That seems more likely, thank you. I obviously wasn't discerning the lower half of 味 correctly.
