Haha this i hilarious, I never noticed until now, but it actually is pretty morbid! The characters would usually pop a pose after get a kill via headshot, and this really shows how funny it is XD

I wouldn't say light hearted. the game actually has a fairly decent moment where they realize the enemy are more than just suits of armor. they admit that even if they do see them as evil, they still have their own friends and families back home waiting for them... but that still won't stop them from celebrating each kill with a pose.
