Plagiarism is the tag we've used once before for this kind of thing (post #393574). Perhaps we should put some effort into a replacement tag that doesn't have as negative a connotation, though.

There was a lot of controversy about this on Pixiv, which has since been erased (partly by the mods, partly by Geister). Geister ended up saying "look, I tagged it as a copy [模写], now get off my case!". It looks like he's back to trying to pass off copies as originals, though, since he hasn't used that tag again in his later posts.
No, people complained precisely because he didn't acknowledge it as a copy. He added the tag later to placate them. But since the Pixiv admins intervened to delete the comments, he might think there's no need for it any more.
