Plot twist: Shamiko is actually a girl stuck in the hospital due to an incurable disease. Although she is physically weak, she has an unparalleled amount of magical potential.
Recently, she has created a magic puppet in the form of a demon girl. When she is unconscious via medication or sleep, she experiences friendship and the normal school life she has always yearned for through the puppet.
Unfortunately, she is not aware of her talent in magic. Despite the connections she made being very much real, she believes her friends are simply filaments of her imagination and will die lonely.
