    Also, this artist is hoping for a longshot, since if Reimu did show up, it would be a repeat of the dragon quest hero in that not many outside of Japan would appreciate it. Don't get me wrong, I want her in BADLY, but its an incredibly tiny chance that she would.

    Yeah, Minecraft Steve is really kicking the doors down. Like, I was shocked that Sans was in (even as a Mii costume) but now it really does feel like a new world where anything is possible. Hell, who fucking knows? Maybe Goku for Smash for real? It's exciting times.

    I feel like that happens with every character reveal.

    "Ridley's too big, K. Rool's irrelevant, Persona 5 isn't on Switch, Banjo's owned by Microsoft, Min-Min already has a spirit" every time a character comes out, a fan 'rule' is broken. And it'll keep going until we (somehow) run out of video game characters and then yeah, Goku.

    Personally, I think Reimu has a realistic chance for a Mii costume, on the general reason that that seems to be where big indie darlings end up. We have Sans, Cuphead, and the rest as costumes. Reimu would fit right in that lineup.
