    Yeah, they already did something focused on the Shinsengumis and aliens. It was Gintama.

    That one was comedy. I'm thinking of a different one that wasn't played for laughs.
    It was pretty bad, though. And I still don't understand why the Shinsengumi end up allying with the Republicans if they were on the Shogun's side to begin with.
