LayerI thought it'd be cooler to have the shell casing flying, but apparently they don't actually fly up so I fixed that.To apply toning, add pin lights and soft lights to a new layer.Cut out the masking area. In my case, I lock the transparency for this.I drew lots of smokey dust for the swallowtail butterfly bits (sorry about that, butterfly...), and after that, repeatedly added a japanese paper texture (burnt color: negative filter brightness 48%).So I wouldn't be dissatisfied, I added a little more dust and put the entire body in the middle of smoke. To bring out some ambience I use new layer -> comparison (brightness) a few times. That raised the quality.
