So basically the cursed effects completely nullify the Charisma bonus, and pretty much bring your score down to 0. That's a cursed item. If she weren't so hot I'd have a problem with the pendant.

Seeing how will is calculated with wisdom and not charisma, it treats as if you have a WIS of 0 so you have a -5 against charm effects, aside from the pointlessness of a +cha effect when you auto fail charisma checks.

What makes more sense to me is that rather than automatically failing your charisma checks, anyone trying to persuade, intimidate or deceive you automatically passes theirs.
