I know, it's a joke. It's beyond an abuse at this point but nobody's going to do anything about it.
Even though it plainly states in the Rules that Comments is the place to have general discussions and express opinions, someone hands out literally hundreds of downvotes a week. No comment no matter how positive or innocuous it may be is safe. I cannot be the only one that is increasingly hesitant to comment due to believing it will be downvoted. And that a sufficient number of downvotes will be considered some sort of violation and my account will be banned.
The content controllers (mods, admins, builders) seem much more interested in giving each other positive feedback and policing content they personally don't like than in ensuring that the rules are followed equally and fairly.
Correction: It is almost certainly some small cabal and not an individual.
