Ugh, Come on, it's the twenty first century... if you have the computer necessary to make this very lovely piece, would it have been so hard to do a real quick search for the right spelling?

They probably knew how to spell it, just a typo they were too lazy to double check for. And who cares? It didn't RUIN the art.
