I totally understand how overbearing modern identity and gender politics can get these days but I'm struggling to see the issue inherent with what for all intents and purposes seems to be an innocuous race and gender swap. A cursory glance through the artist's recent twitter history - only relevant as that's where they posted this image and the rest of their work - doesn't show them to be pushing or espousing anything contentious or controversial. This is also the only example of such "swapping" they seem to have. Everything else I've seen is original. It's not like they're trying to "correct" or complain about anything.

I recently started reading a fic on A03 and it had female balck deku. Id like to think she looks like your drawing seeing how good it is. Dont listen to the haters, because

This is an aggregate site, not a site where artists post. If you want to tell the artist you like it, follow the source link and do it there.

I kinda understand why some would be triggered, because...Let's face it, when 'they' do this "blackwashing" on fictional character or even to actual, historical person, it's okay - it's diversity, inclusive and all that, but when flipped - it's offensive, "whitewashing", cultural-appropriation, all that. All we want actual equality; you forced your rule on us, then obey your own rules, too.
