Ow, a Garand thumb

Wait untill you accidentally got fingertrapped by Ag M/42

I actually let a garand's bolt press against my finger, it didn't slam on it I slowly slid it against my thumb, and it put a lot of pressure on my thumb I could only imagine how painful it'd be to have it actually slam against your thumb.

What sucks too is that there's no easy way to release that bolt hold-open, so you have to trip it with your spent brass or a stick or something.
