Ya know, I'd accept that if Zeon ever officially made more than two Kampfers. But they didn't. :/

what do the number of kampfers have to do with the number of beam sabers produced? anyway, if you're willing to count all the side stories and games as cannon into the mix, then i'm sure there's more than just 2 kampfers.

Ecole du Ciel confirms there were exactly two Kampfers made- The prototype, which survived and is used by Akira throughout the series, and the only production unit made, which Mikhail managed to get trashed. Both Kampfers are Beam Saber equipped and have nowhere to carry a heat hawk without ditching a precious extra shotgun or bazooka.
