An uncle of mine (my mom's bigger brother) had a horse that didn't liked to be tied when he was in its ranch, but he was so noble, gentle and responded to commands of pacing/galloping by petting him in the neck (he didn't liked to be whipped, otherwise he would start to refuse to move). He reminds me of Meteor.
Grani would be like a horse with the personality of a dog: you can let him untied, but he will follow you around your house and be curious of what you're doing and invading your personal space. And would gallop randomly just to mess with you.
Now I'm VERY interested... The people around my region did raise livestock like cows, chickens, goats and sheeps. But it's very rare to see one who raise horses around the low altitude regions. How does one raise a (or several) horse(s)? It's fine if you don't want to reply though. Thanks in advance! Always loved horses since I was young, but I never got the change to get close to or interact with one.
I'd lie to you If I'd told about how my uncle raised his horse, since I was like 8 years old and just visited him 2 or 3 times every month. His horse was pretty much like a calm and patient dog.
I remember that horses are pretty much herd animals and pretty intelligent but temperamental, so treating them like you would treat a bid dog is something I would do, of course, if I had a site like a ranch of a massive place where my horse would run or pace around.
