That is most definitely a cello, not a double-bass. The body of a bass swoops up into the neck, while the body of a cello curves in perpendicular to the neck. Also, you don't play a bass while sitting (hence the term stand-up bass), and if that person did, they would be completely obscured because a bass is much larger. Just in case anyone was wondering.
