The hilt of the sword has what looks very much like the heart symbol of Kingdom Hearts.

I think it's supposed to be Namine and Roxas. What I don't know, is where the Len and Rin come from.

This is indeed true. I don't follow vocaloids much. They're one step removed from Auto-tune when done even the slightest bit wrong.

basically trumps any assumption that it's a Vocaloid picture.

It's definitly Vocaloid, but it's Kingdom Hearts as well! The artist is on deviantArt I think and wrote it, just as sorikaro says.
So it's Vocaloid AND Kingdom Hearts.
