Doesn't Mitsumoto's works get translated a lot faster? And Mitsumoto's handwriting is considerably harder to read than this.
I think it's just the speed of releases combined with the amount of 4koma strips (can you call them that?) that were released before people really got around to translating this comic.

I wouldn't know about Mitsumoto; maybe some translators here are fans and like to jump his stuff.
