I'm not entirely sure myself, dandan. but if I had to guess, I'd say it has to do with the fact that this is a "personification" of Kikuri, who is technically a bronze disc. She's trapped inside there and the fact that Konngara seems to be concerned over her has brought her to tears, perhaps?

I think it is because Konngara and Kikuri used to be lovers Konngara is by fanon one of the four devas..maybe they were lovers and REimu's mom sealed Kikuri's spirit away in a attack of jealous or just plain trolling like Sanae was in UFO and this is the goodbye scene?
