What? No. Canon Reimu NEVER drags out an interrogation. She wants answers immediately and leaves as soon as she gets them (or even without getting them). The word describe her is "impatient," and beating people just happens to be the fastest way to get them to talk sense.

But that's not what's happening here anyway.

It isn't exactly canon Reimu, but it's fairly close. (Reimu is generally less deadpan, more prone to puns and jokes, and wouldn't needlessly chuck Patchy into a bookcase, which was a TOTAL dick move, Reimu.)

The other characters (Remi, Sakuya) are also more Flanderized than necessary.

Pretty much, even Sanae has her moments in UFO...wether she's doing it for the good of others doesn't change the fact that she's beating up weaker people and jumping to conclusions.
