It is canon. In QB Rebellion, Claudette becomes queen and turns evil. She's also defeated Ymir and made her work for her.Ymir then invents the vibration armor and happens upon Mirim, who she convinces into being the second guinea pig (after Elina.) There's a vibrator inside Mirim now that Ymir will use to coerce her later in the story.
