Do pokemon die of old age? Or does it just wind up being a crazy disease or something, like pokecancer.

I can see a turtwig, or torterra living a hundred years, but I cannot imagine something like a pikachu living for a long time.

Well there was this one episode in the anime...the Pikachu seemed to have lived around 40 years or something. That surfing episode.

Back in RBGY days, Lavender townsfolk kinda hinted they can die of old age, diseases and such, the old man outlived his Dutrio, if I recall, plus the WAS a entire tower full of graves, hell the entire classic game series made reference to Pokemon dying, Pidgey getting eaten by Arbok, Charmander dying if their flame went out, ect

In the Pokemon Adventures manga they get seriously injured (blood and all), even die all the time.
