well yes you are correct. Nerd is ENG for Otaku even though the word Otaku in ENG culture is used specifically for Japanese topics. Yes i am aware that she is hiding her hobbies. Dober is a fan of the genre "shoujo manga" and makes her own illustrations and is rumored by JP fans that she bumps into Agnes Digital at some point at a convention because of "common interests". I actually saw one of the images with the two of them posted here not so long ago.
