I’m guessing Nue broke Hijiri’s drum thing and was terrified, but then seeing how she punished doggo girl with ‘just’ a flick on the forehead she was like “oh I guess it’ll be fine if that’s all the punishment she gives” not realizing how monstrously strong Hijiri’s flick is?
