    Or rather, he enjoys sadism towards girls. It's only uncommon in its extremes, here. Stories/fanart with dominant women are fairly uncommon, and even just verbally sadistic women (Nagatoro-san) are extremely upsetting to a lot of male viewers, but there's tons of humiliation for female characters that doesn't raise an eyebrow. That's basically the root of these "ugly man, beautiful woman" artworks (like this series) all over the place, as well as all the disproportionate revenge involving sex. This just goes beyond that into stuff like mutilation to go along with the gross-out humiliation fetish.
