Well, i think its a fairly obvious reference to the show. The "free bird seed" is a common ploy used on it.

Indeed. Yuyuko should have a Magnet nearby or some Earthquake pills (which doesn't work on Roadrunners) just to see the reaction on her.

I honestly thought from the thumbnail that the rock was a Basarios from Monster Hunter. It'd still be a fitting trap.
